It might be possible that I could make alterations to your commission if requested as in the commission below which the customer has kindly allowed to be shown.
Commissioned Graphite Pencil Portrait
A commissioned portrait requested by a customer to add her late mother and father, to give the illusion that they were part of her wedding party.
I initially created a draft (below) and after consulting with the customer it was decided that it would be more aesthetically pleasing to draw all parties at a similar height as this would allow them to be drawn larger so that they would fill the frame better.

The first step was to draw the customer and her husband in their wedding attire. Then I merged many photographs together of her late mother and father, my vision was to give the illusion that not only were they part of the wedding party, but also there with her in spirit.

After drawing the customer and her husband, I added all the little detail from his thumb sticking out of his pocket to all the sparkly detail of her beautiful wedding dress.
The next step was to include her late Father into the Portrait, I achieved this by merging two different photographs of him from a previous wedding. From the first photograph I drew his head and face and then from the second photograph his suit and hands, for which I am very pleased with the outcome.

Once I completed the drawing of her late dad, I then turned my attention to include her late mother. This was achieved by using three different photographs for reference. From the first photograph I drew her head and from the second photograph I used her dress and jacket. Unfortunately, I could not work out the proportions of her hands, so I requested a photograph showing her with hands for which I included into the portrait, with the illusion of her standing next to the bride with her arm and hand at her side.

Here is the result of the pencil portrait. Overall, I am extremely happy of the finished piece. I did a rough sketch of the drawing, showing the individuals at different heights (as you can see from the first picture at the top of the page). After observing the sketch, I decided to draw the customer and her past and present family members at the same level to get as much detail as possible within the portrait. Once it was completed, I emailed the customer the finished portrait, to gain feedback from her. The customer was overcome with emotions upon viewing the portrait, I received good feedback from her via email.
It has been a pleasure to create the is one-of-a-kind Graphite Pencil Portrait.
